Back in 2023, one of our founders was running a testing equipment supply business, delivering kit and certificates to building managers across the UK. Most of those handovers ended the same way — a stack of paperwork that would get lost in a drawer.
Over a few coffees with two software designers, the conversation kept coming back to the same question: why is a £2bn building still relying on a shoebox of PDFs? The three of us sketched out what a calmer, system-of-record approach could look like.
We spent the next year quietly building. Talking to surveyors, fire safety consultants, RTM directors and FM teams. By the time CloudSafe went live, it wasn’t a prototype — it was the tool we all wished we’d had for years.
